Yikes! It's 2 days until Christmas! Even though it's probably too late, I'm sharing with you last- minute wrappers some fun wrapping ideas! Elegant SwirlWrap the present. (This works best with presents that have a flat top.) Cut out a strip of wrapping paper that's about half an inch wide and 8 inches tall. (You don't have to be exact.) Wrap the strip tightly around your finger and hold for 5 seconds. Carefully pull off your finger and let it loosen. Tape both ends to the top of the present! FirecrackerIf you're wrapping a pencil or a candy stick, you can wrap it this cute way. Cut a strip of wrapping paper that's about 2 inches wider and 4 inches taller than your gift. Wrap the paper tightly around the gift. Tape in place. Twist the ends. Perfect! Gift outside the gift.Tape some candy or something small to the outside of the gift for extra fun!

I make this once in a while for my family over cooked pasta and it is sooo good! What makes it even better is that you make it in the microwave, so kids (like me) can make it too! You needOne [1/2 cup] stick of butter One [8 oz] package of cream cheese 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp [squished] garlic (You can also use 2 teaspoons of garlic powder) instructionsMicrowave the butter for 45 seconds. This should melt it. Whisk if there are any lumps. Add the cream cheese and microwave in 30 second intervals whisking fiercely between each one until the consistency is like smooth cheese
frosting. (Yum!) Keep stirring! This will happen! Now add the milk, little by little, microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring between each one. Now add the pepper and garlic. Keep microwaving and stirring until the sauce is the consistency you like! Serve over cooked pasta. Here's a recipe for delicious M&M granola bars that can easily be broken up to make yummy on-the-go yogurt granola! What You Need: 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats 1/4 cup Unsweetened Coconut Chips or Flakes (You can substitute this for Rice Crispies cereal) 1/2 cup M&Ms plus more for top. (I used a bit more than that) 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1 tsp Salt 1/4 cup Butter, softened (half an 8 tbs stick) 1/4 cup Coconut Oil, melted 1/4 cup Honey 1/2 tsp Vanilla What You Do: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 13x9 pan with parchment paper greased with butter. Combine ingredients and mix! (Just don't eat it all, because it's very tempting...) Press into the pan and bake for 18 minutes. Let cool, and cut into rectangles! |
